Nature and Human, GALLERIA LUTS, 2021

Katja Juhola’s colorful graphic works are based on a performance that emerged from a socially engaged art experience, in which she explored the relationship between humans and other living beings. At the heart of the exhibition is the personal and raw emotional connection between humans and the forest, as well as the loss of biodiversity. The forest is not just for humans — it is home to a diverse multitude of life.

The exhibition also features Juhola’s video work Metsä / Forest (2021, 10 min 31 sec), which consists of conversations held with participants during the ISEAS symposium.
